Seminar for Educators and Teachers

The ZSD organized a seminar for educators and teachers, focusing on developing and refining good educational concepts. The goal was to train educators in Berlin and expand successful experiences from a parent initiative to other districts, reducing the need for long commutes to the Pangea Haus.

Parent and Children’s Day at Pangea Haus

Every Saturday, the Pangea Haus filled with up to 30 children per group. Parents took part in consultations with child psychologists or family therapists, while children engaged in activities. Many of the parents were skilled workers who had recently immigrated to Germany.

Digitalization in Entrepreneurship

This project empowers youth workers from five countries to foster entrepreneurship in young people, addressing unemployment through non-formal education. It builds skills in leadership, problem-solving, and business development, explores the impact of globalization, exchanges best practices, and produces resources to guide youth entrepreneurship—all within the Erasmus+ framework.

Mental Resilience Training Course

The "Mental Resilience Training Course" hosted by the European Youth Organization in Serbia, runs from 08-16.10.2021, with 30 youth workers, volunteers, and trainers participating. It aims to enhance knowledge of mental health issues in youth, covering topics like depression, anxiety, mindset, and social well-being. Outputs include a Q&A Guide and Trainer Manual to support mental health in youth work.

With rising awareness of trans rights and female equality, diverse gender identities are now in the mainstream. Yet, society and youth workers often struggle to keep up, creating environments that may exclude some identities. Gender identity shapes expression and choices, while an intersectional lens is vital to understanding how overlapping inequalities drive discrimination.

Research shows that creativity is crucial for effective learning. In a rapidly changing world, young people need diverse skills to adapt and contribute to society. Nurturing environments that encourage originality and view mistakes as learning opportunities are vital. To enhance this, ZSD from Germany and EOM from Serbia are launching a training course in Limassol, Cyprus, aimed at boosting youth workers' creativity.

E+ Young Entrepreneurs

The project fosters an entrepreneurial spirit in youth, transforming job seekers into job creators to boost employment opportunities and enhance employability skills. Objectives include building job-creation skills, exchanging entrepreneurial practices, encouraging youth-led businesses, and fostering creativity toward self-employment. Activities use non-formal education, including group work, discussions, and Erasmus+ workshops.

Interfaith dialogue and Youth work

Interfaith dialogue can be challenging for youth workers, who may fear offending others or appearing biased when discussing religion. However, addressing religion in non-formal education is vital for promoting diverse worldviews among young people. To support this, the training course "Interfaith Dialogue and Youth Work" will unite youth workers to explore concepts and enhance skills for implementing related projects.
